an important catalyst
for
human accomplishment.
We humans thrive on strife; economies prosper,
populations are unified, powers are centralized
and
cultures revitalized
with
the necessity of invention.
It could be argued that peace and harmony
stand
in the way of our national prosperity.
The body of work entitled paranoia, investigates
the
innate contradictions
between conflict and prosperity,
and the “culture of fear” at its core.
