    datelines

I am interested in the idea of self as a body politic, something that society
controls or overshadows. In 2008, I began the drawings I now call datelines,
that address the consequence of a culture divided by the expectations
of personal prosperity and the realities of sustainability.

    paranoia

The influence of the media on our personal and collective unconscious
was the focus of the drawings entitled paranoia, started in 2006. The sheer
magnitude of messages that permeate our daily lives can and do influence
our perception of ourselves and the confusing reality of our modern world.
